2015 - Year in Review

You know what the great thing about blogging is?  That you can go back and really remember what you accomplished throughout the year.  As I was thinking of this post...or even if I was going to do one...I didn't think I had accomplished much this year...you know...nothing big and amazing.....but I was wrong.  As I reread my blogs for the year (does anyone else do this)....I realized I had checked quite a bit off my 'to do' list.  Let's take a look!

January - I turned 40!  Yup...that's right....I turned the big 4-0!  My goals for 2015 for all centered around 'Fun at 40'!
February - This is not really about me....but we had the winter from hell!!!
March - I completed another sprint triathlon...a small one in support of Diabetes.  I'll be doing this one again this year...but in April!
April - I took a Barre certification course.  I couldn't go down stairs properly for days!

May - I learned to shoot a gun!  An AMAZING experience!!  This has got to be one of my favorite pictures from 2015!!
June - And then the fun really began.  I completed my first ever Spartan Sprint Race at Wentworth Ski Hill.  3 trips up those hills was no small feat but I conquered it.  AROO!!!
July Mud Hero was the next OCR on the list!  There were a large group of us doing it!  Tons of smiles and laughter....and really STINKING mud!
August - and the final OCR was Foam Fest.  If you are looking for only a little challenge, a little mud, and a ton of fun....this is it!!
September - Erin and I ran Maritime Race Weekend dressed as pirates....so much fun!
October - Two notable things happened in October.  The 2nd annual BLT 5k Fun Run/Walk happened and my proudest moment as I was able to slip a medal around my moms neck.  I cried such proud tears as she came across the finish line!!
And I crossed the finish line at my 2nd half marathon!  Not in the time I wanted...but I crossed!!
November - Erin and I checked out a new trampoline park in the city.  I threw some backhandsprings...and my back has not been the same since.
December - and finally, that brings us to December.  With no races to do and work winding down, December has been a very quiet month spent with family and friends....just like it should be.  With the last day of 2015 upon us, it's reflection time....and then to looking forward.  Without goals, we shall wander aimlessly into the next year....time to plan my blogger friends!!!  And remember to always:
