Group Run, November Challenge and Renovations

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Today marked one week from the first TTP run which meant that I increased the running portion of our run/walk to 1 minute 30 seconds.  I am super proud of the group as every one finished in high spirits!!  The group is soooooo supportive of each other and I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to run with!!! Tomorrow is an impromptu session of hill training....lord help me.

Our group for an 8am run! The doggie and toddler had a blast!!!
Speaking of running, SkinnyChickBlog is doing a November challenge of 30 miles in 30 days.  I have put the challenge out to the Tundra Pounders as well as I think this is totally doable for our group.  We run/walk 2.25-2.5 miles each time...at least 3 times per week...and it will add up quickly!  The other members that go further will have no problem reaching this goal!!!

Since I was up early this morning for the run, I decided to finish my master bedroom renovations.  About 2 weeks ago, I tore up the nasty carpet and was sleeping on the cement floor.  Indy decided to help me lay the laminate, in between turns of throwing the ball.  I might have had to call my contractor friend to figure out how to take the baseboards off...they were on there good!!  I am pretty much finished, I just have to add a connector piece (don't know the proper name) between the bedroom and the hallway and put the baseboard back on.  Indy hates it...he slides when he tries to jump on the bed...poor guy!

Oh....one more pic....my supper tonight was thrown together with random items in my freezer.  J says I have enough food in my freezer/pantry to last for months if I didn't step foot in a grocery store...LOL...he might be exaggerating just a bit.  I present Pineapple Shrimp Stir-fry.

Hope you have a relaxing evening and save up some energy for any long runs that might be taking place tomorrow!!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out what I've been up to!!!!

    1. It was yummy. It took me longer than I wanted to lay the floor because my helper demanded so much attention. LOL
