Staying on Track and 4 days left!

As you remember from my last post...I had gotten off track.  Well that was a week ago...so how have I done?  I think I'm getting there!

Monday - did a workout at home using the TRX, Medicine Ball, and my own body weight.
Then on Tuesday, I did the workout below.  I'm not crazy....I did split the first 4 exercises in half and did the first half in the beginning and the second half at the end.
I took Wednesday off and decorated the outside of my front porch.  I just love my sign!!

Thursday was a busy night with personal training so another rest night.  And wouldn't you know it, Friday I woke up with a migraine.  After resting in the morning, I decided to take advantage of double digit temperatures and went for a 5k run.  Wouldn't you know that I got caught in a downpour half way...but it was a warm downpour...in December none-the-less.  We have been so lucky.
I have 4 days of work left...just 4.  Then I get laid off for 2 months...which works out great as it's usually the worst weather here in NS.  This year I have plans to get back into the pool with my added time off!  Can't wait!

I have one week until my mom comes to stay with me for the holidays!!  It's always fun having her visit...she still spoils me after all these years!  There will be card playing (gin rummy and cribbage), movie watching, and shopping!!  And of course...cutie Amber comes to visit too!

Do you go to family for the holidays or do they come to you??
If you had 2 months off work....what would you do?

  1. I love how Christmassy your house looks! I keep meaning to text you that compliment but I keep forgetting!!!

If I were off for two months I'd totally take advantage of sleep and doing things on my terms and on my schedule.

  2. Hi Courtney! Just dropping in to say hello! I've been slacking on blog reading for months. You look fabulous & same with your porch. Enjoy the swimming! Have a wonderful holiday season. (I think if I were off for 2 months my days would be like - crossfit + run + yoga + read + trying new recipes!)
