BLASTING Music & Setting Goals

First....thanks for the great suggestions on podcasts....I have already subscribed to some of the suggested stations. :-)

Today was one of those days where the sun is shining (well it was) and the day just seemed like a good one.  After taking my time at Walmart, I came home and BLASTED the music!!  Indy thought I was nuts I'm sure as I danced around the house, cleaning and organizing.  Some days you just need to let loose and yell/dance it out!!!!

The other day I was looking at some new running blogs and came across one (and I apologize as I don't remember which one), where the writer wrote out their weekly exercise schedule to be accountable.  I liked that idea!  I am HORRIBLE at doing weekly exercises and stretches...I need to find a way to be more accountable to myself!!  Today I sat down and developed a weekly schedule for myself that I hope will help.  I added colors...cause you know colors make everything better!  I also bought cool gel pens to help me check off the wins I make every day!!!  Take a look...what do you think??

Purple = Jillian Michaels DVD, Green = My ITB stretches, Blue = Weekly Runs
I am new at twitter but the other day I came across this great quote tweeted by #Saucony!  I put a picture to it and came up with this:

I think I am trying to find my bridge with the monthly workout schedule.  The TTP have been my bridge in terms of getting me out for runs this winter...now I have to do the rest!!!

I have started to update my race itinerary...check it out at the top of my blog.

And finally, today the TTP group is going to a yoga clinic put on by Breathing Space Yoga in Tantallon.  So excited to learn some stretches to augment my training.  I might just have to stick yoga into my weekly workout routine!

I hope you have all had a great weekend.  Thanks for stopping by....wake up each day this week being the best you can be!!!!!

  1. I definitely like having my workouts planned for the week. Training peaks sends me an email each day to tell me what my workout will be......talk about being on my case, lol.
