Thankful Thursday!

With all the doom and gloom that is going around I thought I'd do a post on things I'm thankful for today.

1.  The TTP had a large group for tonight's run.  The temperatures were actually above freezing with zero precipitation which made for amazing running conditions.  We had 3 separate groups running for about 5k.  The beginners are up to 3.5minutes running with a pace of about 6.30...they pushed it tonight. :-)
I'm hoping that snow disappears soon
2. I am on day #4 of doing my glute exercises...it's almost a record.

3.  Today, G and I met with Lululemon to bring them on board for hockey camps that will be held this summer.  Eeeeek....it's exciting to be thinking of the young people that we'll be working with and helping them build on the skills they already have.  We also found out that CBC is going to be doing a small tidbit on the Organ Transplant athletes next week.

4.  I am very fortunate to have been given something that will be framed and hung on my office wall to constantly remind me that ANYTHING is possible if you have the drive and determination to make it happen.  Many of you have heard of the hours and hours that this person spent firing pucks at his grandmothers dryer.  I am hoping to have the opportunity to meet this amazing athlete this summer, and others like him, and can't wait to soak in the energy that surrounds them.
These are 2 of Sidney's Olympic autographed jersey's and I feel very honored to have them.  Whenever I doubt that I can accomplish something, I am going to look to these jerseys.

5.  Finally, I am thankful for the doors that my little hobby called running has opened for me.  It just takes a little bit of courage on my part to walk through them!

I hope you're all having a fantastic week.  Tomorrow is TGIF and I couldn't be happier!  Stay tuned for Saturday's blog on how my Sole Sister's presentation ROCKED!!!
