Grocery Shopping & The Shine On Award!!!

Kimmie, from Running to her Dreams, gave me the most amazing gift today...and she didn't even know it.  She nominated me for the Shine on Award.  Please pop over and check out her site...she continuously makes me believe in myself just by 'being a boss'!!!


Here are the rules for this award:

  • I have a little bit of a spock ear on the right hand side.  This is a sign to watch for kidney problems.
  • I still use Q-Tips to clean my ears despite the numerous warnings out there.
  • I talk to Indy like he's a person and try to convince him to say "I love you mommy." (I'm not crazy...I swear).
  • I have 3 tattoos
  • I have OCD when it comes to folding towels.
  • I was a gymnast from the age of 6-13 and then 19-23. 
  • I can touch my nose with my tongue.

This is hard for me as I don't follow a ton of blogs...but have come up with a handful that I follow religiously and nominate the following.
Okay...onto grocery shopping!  Like I said in yesterday's post, Step #1 in my healthy eating was to purchase some yummy, healthy food to eat!  I rose early this morning and hit the Walmart super center!  I even picked up a 'new to me' bag of frozen fruit to make different smoothies.


Tomorrow is a holiday here in Nova Scotia, so I'm going to make a pasta salad (thanks Kimmie for the idea) and hopefully that, coupled with some chicken wraps, will make this a healthy eating week!!!  I will keep you posted for sure!

    Your lunches are looking pretty good! I'm dreading packing well-rounded meals for Little Fox for school.

    Look at your food prep, I'm so proud of you! You'll find it makes your life so much easier.

    I am going to try to work on ab work this month, not anything crazy for obvious reasons, but just to help me with delivery, etc.
